Job Training in India

It is difficult to find a job  to provide for your family when you don't have specific job training and skills. Live to Help helps unemployed men in India by finding job placements with employers in their community, offering 3 months wages so they can learn a new skill and be hired on permanently by that employer after that training and probation period.

Help us build a community recreation and meditation centre/temple south of Edmonton!

In response to a real need in the Edmonton Hindu community, Live to Help is constructing a recreation and meditation centre/temple in south Edmonton that is completely free to use.

We already have purchased 2.5 acres of land for the project at 51151 Rg Rd 235, Leduc County, soon to be annexed into the City of Edmonton. Plans for the facility include a meditation temple, Ayurveda Centre, Reiki Clinic, kitchen and hall. In a separate building, there will be an indoor playground with volunteer supervisors on a scheduled basis. Outside your family will enjoy a sports field, tennis courts, beach volleyball court and plenty of outdoor space to picnic and play. Again, all free to use.

Our goal is to help families strengthen their spirituality and relationships with each other. Often parents are worried about bringing their children to meditation as they can be a distraction. Now they can be dropped off to play while you meditate, and join you in the temple afterwards to learn about a lifestyle of devotion that will carry on throughout their adulthood.

We need your help to make this dream a reality!

Happy Indian family at the park.

Next Steps...

Our first fundraising goal for the recreation and meditation centre/temple is $120,000. We need to raise this money by the end of this month! Please help us make this dream a reality.
